It does make people say that Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi is more style over substance (and they are right to be fair) however, fans of the show will love how faithful this game is to the show. Back in 2011 no other Dragon Ball Z game that came before it looked as good as this.
I feel like I am saying “at the time of release” or something else like that a lot in this review! However, I feel that is the best way to describe it. It is pretty basic, but at the time I thought this was awesome and it was something new to the series. In this mode, you get to create your own character and you play through a brand-new original story that sees you needing to find all of the Dragon Balls in order to save the world. If that is not enough, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi has a second mode for you to play through as well.
