I bought this game with low expectations and made it a point to not look at a review before playing it myself, and might I say, I was not disappointed. I am a huge Battlefield fan, but this game is a great alternative in terms of different game play and a totally different representation. This game received quite a few unjustifiable reviews in my opinion (for the most part) and after playing through it on hard and putting in the time for multiplayer, I feel I have credibility to say that. If you prefer arcade style shooters that are more about personal achievement like in CoD, then this may not be the game for you, then again, it just might surprise you. The single player story was the best and most personal military representation I have seen in a fps in years. If you are a fan of tactical shooters that encourage team play and playing the objective, then this is a definitely a game you should pick up. So after putting in 8+ hours in MoH: Warfighter’s multiplayer, and a good amount of time into it's single player, I have to say, I love what it has to offer.
