Hi, Just wanted to know if I should be concerned by 'PBR Image' that looks pretty full. You may check the following link to know more about Windows recovery options. They are important for recovering the system in case of a software issue and should not be deleted. PBR Image drive and WINRETOOLS drive are the recovery partitions and contain the recovery image (PBR Image) and Windows Recovery Environment tools (WINRETOOLS). MBR will be created when the first partition on the hard drive is created and it is a very important data structure on the first sector of disk, which contains the partition table for the drive as well as a small amount of executable code for the boot start. Master Boot Record (MBR) belongs to boot record, along with Boot Configuration Data (BCD). In your diskpart image is a volume 3 which is not. That is 4 partitions and the one strange one. Is it necessary, and must I somehow enlarge the PBR partition in order to do the backup? In your small image of Drive Optimization I think I see a C: partition, ESP, WinRETools, and PBR. It is in red indicating that there is inadequate room and is always checked.
This Windows 10 partition appears when I attempt to create a new backup of the files required to backup and restore windows.
